Other corporate partners included the SKF Kenya Group, represented by Regional Customer Service Manager, Ms. Esther Odongo. Ms.Odongo emphasized on the vital role of corporate social responsibility and called on corporates to support the nationwide cause.

The donation, consisting of both in-kind and in-cash contribution worth Ksh. 1.5 Million was received by the acting secretary general – Red Cross Mr. Ayaz Manji present at the event.

According to the global humanitarian organization, more than 2.7 Kenyans in 23 counties are food insecure, with extreme cases of mortality, as well as death of both wildlife and livestock reported across the country.
